BE POWER APP
BE Power Equipment is Canada's largest manufacturer of pressure washers, located in Abbotsford, British Columbia. BE Power Equipment is a B2B company and currently does not interact with their end users.
The goal for the development of a mobile application is to collect end user data. The app is a next level consumer experience where all BE Product can be stored. The app provides interactive information, warranty products, repair depots and dealer locations, product registration, and more.
Collecting end user data will allow BE Power Equipment to:
● Create a data base so we can understand who our end users are.
● Able to connect directly to the end users and send them tailored notifications.
● Help increase product reviews and ratings.
● Becoming paperless will reduce product costs.
● Real time asset updates.
● Optimization with the Repair Depot Warranty Claim Process.
● The data will help BE learn about their end user's preferences and values.
● Will allow BE to shape their marketing and sales efforts in the right directions.
● Will help guide BE’s product development strategies.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
Two Types of Registration
● Scannable QR code that will be added to all of our products to allow for quick registration.
● Manual entry process will be available as a second option.
● Registration will apply to brand new units and can be transferred when resold privately.
EQUIPMENT SHOP
Every piece of BE Power Equipment that is purchased can be added to the APP. All relevant manuals and documents can be reviewed as needed.
PRODUCT SPECS
The home page of each product has all the most important specs.
No more guessing what machine the customer has thus allowing for quicker service when needed.
DOCUMENTS
Every relevant document for the products available under the document screen. This includes the owner manual, spec sheet, and breakdowns.
This will reduce the number of phone calls and emails BE receives for documentation requests.
FIND A DEALER / REPAIR DEPOT
Users can locate local dealers where BE Power Equipment products are sold. Users are also able to quickly find their closest Repair Depot when they need service.
TRANSFER OWNERSHIP
Users have the ability to transfer ownership of a product to another user who has a BE app account through a QR code scan or transfer code. Each product has a unique serial number that is linked to a users account, and warranty level. If a user decides to sell their product to another user, they can use this feature to easily transfer ownership.
