TJX CAREERS DIGITAL

TJX was looking to update their career website and wanted to see how they could launch a new experience online and an experiential campaign to kick it off. Teaming up with JWT London and JWT New York, Mirum Canada was tasked with submitting ideas for the online portion of the pitch.

I teamed up with a talented copywriter and together we came up with a concept, called TJX Factor. We analyzed the types of candidates that the company recruits and how to attract them to apply to careers at TJX online. Our ideas were presented to TJX in a pitch. A pitch which turned out to be successful in winning their business.

Concept Statement: “Finding that something that makes us stand out. It’s what drives The TJX Companies. From the hidden treasures in our stores to the brilliant talent in our offices and on the sales floor. It’s what you might not know about us that will impress you, like how a 40 year old company can still bring fresh perspectives and make a global impact. Every day brings new mysteries to solve, challenges to overcome and successes to celebrate. Bring us your unknown potential, grow your X factor with us and learn what amazing things can happen here.” Our strategy was to draw a candidate into the recruitment landing page, where we could further introduce them to the various ‘Xs’ that make up TJX. We put these factors into three buckets: Who, Where, and How.
